In the course of his diploma thesis, a student of paleontology from the Geozentrum Nordbayern in Erlangen executed a study on two specimens of the 255mio year old Madagascan Reptile Barasaurus besairiei, which were provided as a loan from the stock of the Staatlichen Museum für Naturkunde Karlsruhe. With the help of Siemens, the circumstances of death and fossilization of the animals could be reconstructed.
